Job summary

Victoria Women In Need Community Cooperative (WIN) is seeking a hands-on Transportation & Warehouse Assistant to move inventory between the warehouse, stores, and donation centers. The role includes coordinating pickups, loading, and timely deliveries across multiple locations in Victoria, BC.

Working 32–40 hours per week (6:00 am - 2:00 pm), the position requires a valid Class 5 licence, adherence to health and safety policies, and strong teamwork to support logistics and customer service

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean driving record.
• Preference for 2+ years driving large commercial vehicles.
• Strong communication and customer service approach.
• Commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transports inventory between warehouse, stores and other locations.
• Plans transportation and loading/unloading ensuring safe delivery.
• Assists program and donors and coordinates pickups of donations.
• Maintains organization of storage spaces and coordinates with teams.
• Supports in maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Provides ongoing information on transportation issues to supervisor.
