Uni-Select Inc. in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Driver for a 6-month contract. The successful candidate will deliver automotive aftermarket parts, prepare orders, verify invoices, and assist with picking parts while ensuring accurate records and neat store operations.

No prior experience is required, but a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain professional customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery.
• Verify invoices to ensure orders are exact.
• Assist with picking parts for orders and organize daily pick-ups of customer cores.
• Record all deliveries and pickups accurately.
• Ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores.
• Check vehicle daily fluid levels and overall condition.
• Comply with road rules and report any delivery delays to Dispatcher.

Job description

We are looking for someone seeking exciting new opportunities as Driver (6 months contract) for our thriving team in Victoria, BC. The successful person will be an energetic, customer focused, self-starter who has experience in the automotive aftermarket parts industry.

Your Daily Contribution & Impact

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery
• verify invoices to ensure that order is exact
• possibly assist with picking parts for orders Examine the condition of the merchandise at delivery or prior to accepting delivery
• examine the condition of the merchandise with the customer, and have customer sign-off on delivery
• Organize daily pick-up of customer cores
• returns and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency
• Accurately record all deliveries and pickups
• ensure proper paperwork accompanies all customer cores
• returns, and warranties while complying with customer service delivery strategies
• Comply with electronic delivery principals and standards
• Ensure any complaints or dissatisfaction of a customer is immediately reported to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager
• Check daily fluid levels of the vehicle
• the tire condition and ensures cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Comply with all rules and regulations of the road at all times
• Check in with Dispatcher and/or Store Manager on Delivery progress/delays
• Participate in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory
• Be prepared to assist with customer service activities within store location, assist with keeping store in a neat and orderly manner including stocking of shelves
