Job summary

New Age Services Inc. is seeking a Community Support Worker to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

Join a team dedicated to helping people achieve meaningful lives through person-centered support and community participation. You will provide daily living support, implement behaviour strategies, and help with documentation while promoting independence and healthy lifestyles.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Human Services, Disability Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Education, or related field (equivalencies considered).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Reliable vehicle with $2 million liability insurance.
• Emergency First Aid & CPR.
• Intermediate computer and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
• Promote independence, healthy lifestyles, and meaningful social connections.
• Implement behavioural support strategies and individualized support plans.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and community outings.

New Age Services Inc. is looking for a Community Support Worker to join our team supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and complex needs in a residential setting.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
• Promote independence, healthy lifestyles, and meaningful social connections.
• Implement behavioural support strategies and individualized support plans.
• Accompany individuals to appointments, recreational activities, and community outings.
• Complete documentation and reports accurately and professionally.

About You

• Passionate about supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Comfortable providing personal care and behavioural support.
• Calm and confident in challenging situations.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Reliable, professional, and committed to person-centered support.

Permanent Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Tuesday to Saturday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Starting Wage: $21.19/hour

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and non-verbal communication strategies
