The HOME Society in Abbotsford, BC seeks a dedicated caregiver to provide a home-like environment and support individuals in reaching their fullest potential. You will build warm, personal relationships and actively involve families in each person’s life while maintaining safety and well-being as the top priority.

Responsibilities include promoting independence, coordinating with the Program Coordinator/Director/Manager/Human Resources, and ensuring consistent care in a structured setting.

Competenze

• Clear Criminal Record Check through Ministry of Public Safety and Justice Adult Care or Community Care
• First Aid/CPR Certification
• Food Safe Certification
• Valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s license
• Minimum of two work-related references (Supervisory)
• Describe your education (degrees, diplomas, certifications, training)
• Rate your proficiency in spoken and written English
• Employee number
• Outline your employment history with HOMES

Job Summary

Responsible for providing a home-like, comfortable environment in the
Individual setting. Also ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to develop to
the fullest extent of his/her abilities and desires. They will establish a warm and personal
relationship with each individual living in the home and encourage the active
participation of parents, siblings, and friends in each person’s life while keeping the
Individual’s safety and well-being the priority at all times.

Requirements
