Coast Grocery Company in Agassiz, BC is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead daily operations, motivate staff and ensure top-notch customer service. You will oversee all store activities, coach teams, manage schedules and inventories, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Previous grocery retail management experience and store operations knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
• Experience managing sales, schedules and inventory.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on leadership style and willingness to pitch in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily store operations to ensure a well-run environment.
• Lead, coach and support employees across departments.
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee inventory, merchandising and shrink control.
• Maintain high standards of freshness, presentation and cleanliness.
• Assist customers and support a friendly, personal service.
• Identify opportunities to improve store operations and customer experience.
• Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
