House of Friendship in Waterloo Region is seeking a seasoned Community Services Manager to lead the Family Outreach program, supervise staff, manage budgets, and partner with community agencies to deliver anti-racist, trauma-informed services.

The role emphasizes coaching, collaboration, and governance across programs, with development of policies, reporting, and continuous improvement, plus travel within the region and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma required in relevant field.
• Experience in program management and supervisory roles would be an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with staff and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, deliverables and outcomes of assigned program portfolios.
• Lead and develop Supervisors, direct service staff, students and volunteers.
• Coach supervisors in navigating complex situations and provide performance management.
• Ensure healthy operation of programs including safety and well-being of staff.
