Job summary

Moose Cree First Nation Security Team conducts regular patrols to deter crime and safeguard community assets, maintaining a visible presence and promptly responding to incidents. Personnel report suspicious activity and help uphold a safe environment for residents and visitors.

The team emphasizes confidentiality, cultural awareness, and adherence to health and safety standards while supporting a secure Moose Factory community.

Qualifications

• Security Guard Licence or willing to be trained.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• G driver's license required.
• CPIC with Vulnerable Sector check required (at applicant’s expense).
• Strong leadership and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Cree language is an asset.
• Understand and follow health and safety standards.
• Experience in security or peacekeeping preferred.
• Cultural awareness of Moose Cree First Nation environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with regular community patrols to deter crime and protect property.
• Maintain a visible security presence and respond to incidents as directed.
• Report suspicious or criminal activity to the Drug Task Force.
• Help ensure a safe and secure environment for community members.
