Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a School Nurse to join its Hamilton community team on a casual basis. The nurse will provide in-home/school-based care, plan individualized care, and support students in the Greater Hamilton area. Training, mentorship and flexible scheduling enhance professional growth.

Shifts are Monday through Friday with 4–8 hour blocks; travel between schools is required. A valid RN with CNO registration and driving access is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN) in good standing with the provincial regulatory body (CNO).
• 1–2 years of community nursing experience preferred, with palliative, pediatrics, diabetes management, or trach/vent care assets.
• Willingness to travel within Hamilton/Burlington area and possess valid G2 or G Driver’s License with access to a vehicle.

• Act as primary care planner with autonomous, holistic approach to patient care.
• Teach, delegate tasks, and mentor across client and family levels while maintaining best practices.
