Job summary

New Directions is a social service agency offering resources and services to foster people’s hopes and community. The Adult Home Share (AHS) program connects individuals with a Home Share Provider to live together in the provider’s home, with community workers supporting goals and daily living skills.

Shifts include afternoons/evenings/weekends/holidays. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to transport to community locations.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' experience working with people with disabilities, including autism, anxiety, and OCD.
Excellent communication with Case Managers and Supervisors.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in the community while collaborating with the larger team.
Flexible to work afternoons, evenings, weekends or holidays.
Ability to participate in swimming program weekly with the supported individual.
Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for community transport.
