Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) is seeking a Public Health Nurse (PHN) to promote, protect and preserve the health of populations within Community Health Services - Seven Oaks. The PHN applies nursing theory to immunization, reproductive health, and disease prevention across diverse communities.

The role emphasizes health equity, collaboration with Population Public Health, and leadership in community settings.

Formación

• Two years of recent, relevant experience in public health, primary care/public health, population health promotion or community development.
• Experience in applying health promotion principles, primary prevention, and equity-focused population health.
• Excellent English oral and written communication; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsabilidades

• Apply public health science and nursing theory to promote and protect health of populations.
• Collaborate within Population Public Health team and with WRHA partners to deliver services.
• Engage with communities to support immunization and preventive health initiatives.
