Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada and Bermuda is seeking a Community Ministry Supervisor to support the Centre of Hope's dinner program and related family services, helping deliver meals, resources and compassionate care to clients, donors, and guests.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers and staff, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, handling intake, and connecting clients with community services while upholding confidentiality and mission values.

Qualifications

• Fluent English communication in person and written form.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate with volunteers.
• Commitment to The Salvation Army mission and client confidentiality.
• Willingness to follow OH&S and safety policies.
• Background check completed prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Support Centre of Hope’s dinner program and related family services.
• Coordinate volunteers, staff, and meal/service logistics.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and safe handling of donations.
• Maintain intake, records, and referrals to community resources.
