Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. in Ottawa, ON is seeking dedicated Community Personal Support Workers to join our team. You will travel to clients’ homes to deliver high-quality personal care and support that helps individuals live safely and independently.

You will assist with daily living activities, follow individualized care plans, maintain documentation, and communicate with care coordinators. This role values compassionate, client-centered care in community settings.

Qualifications

• HSW or PSW certificate or enrolled in Nursing pathway.
• Clinical experience as HSW/PSW in past year.
• BLS certification and N95 fit test.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes to provide personal care.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, toileting, and meds reminders.
• Follow care plans, document observations, and report to supervisors.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation; offer companionship.

Hourly Rate: $21.50 to $26.50

Carecor is seeking dedicated and compassionate Community Personal Support Workers to join our community care team. In this role, you will travel to clients’ homes to provide high‑quality personal care and support that empowers individuals to live safely and independently in their own environment.

As a PSW with Carecor, you will assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and medication reminders. You will also provide light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and emotional support. This position is ideal for Personal Support Worker who is confident working independently, adaptable to varied client needs, and committed to delivering dignified, person‑centered care.

You will follow individualized care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate key observations to supervisors or care coordinators. Area of Work: Successful candidates will be seeing clients in person in the rural area of Prescott and surrounding areas.

Availability: Standard working hours are Days (6am – 2pm) and Evenings (2pm -10pm). Employees need to be available to work every other weekend (2 weekends a month).

Must be fully bilingual in English and French, with the ability to conduct professional communications in both languages.

• Understands and implements infection prevention practices
• Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
• Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
• Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System.
• Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties and is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
• Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
• Complete other tasks as requested.

Job Qualifications

• Home Support Worker (HSW) certificate, Personal Support Worker (PSW) certificate or enrolled in a Nursing pathway program or a Nursing student
• Clinical experience as a HSW or PSW within the past 1 year
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationand N95 Mast Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past(1)yearor negative chest x-ray within the past 5 years
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition ofhire
