LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity focused on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop outreach activities, including community events, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities, collaborating with the Youth Programme Coordinator and the Youth-HIV Conference Coordinator to create synergy.
• Nurture relationships with collaborative partners, both new and existing.
• Schedule regular outreach exhibitions in the community and educate employees on community responsibility.
• Prepare accurate records and reports on Peer Education goals and outreach objectives.
• Assist in special events such as donor/volunteer appreciation and fundraising initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

We seek a results-driven team player to lead our community outreach within the HIV community. You will mentor outreach ambassadors to enhance LetsStopAIDS’ reach and reputation by engaging with our target audience both online and in person. You should be engaging, friendly, non-judgmental, and knowledgeable about sexual health education and HIV-related stigmas. Building relationships with the HIV community, organizations, or individuals for sponsorship and collaboration is essential.
