Job summary

The successful candidate will work under the Program Manager, handle confidential information, and support individuals impacted by socio-economic challenges within a community setting.

Qualifications

• Secondary education from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Community Colleges or University Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or minimum 1 year of practical experience with individuals impacted by socio-economic issues including homelessness, trauma, addiction, mental health, poverty, and the child welfare.

Responsibilities

• Caseworker duties include ensuring participants understand and follow program guidelines.
• Provide intensive one-on-one case management.
• Connect participants to community supports.
• Provide stabilization and crisis support.
• Practice self-help and non-violent problem-solving with participants.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform duties as assigned.
