Trellis is seeking a Community Manager to build and strengthen Trellis’ presence and relationships within the community, ensuring services respond to the needs of children, youth, families, and communities we serve.
The role requires experienced people leadership, developing partnerships, and turning community needs into actionable opportunities for impact. Reporting to a Program Director, you will drive program operations, staff development, and collaborative initiatives.

The Community Manager builds and strengthens Trellis’ presence and relationships within the community, helping ensure our services and initiatives continue to respond to the needs of children, youth, families, and the communities we serve.
Working closely with internal teams, community partners, and other stakeholders, the Community Manager develops and maintains strong relationships, identifies opportunities to strengthen community connections, and supports initiatives that enhance the impact and reach of Trellis’ services. They bring a strong understanding of community needs and help connect people, organizations, and resources to create meaningful outcomes.
The Community Manager also provides leadership and support to staff, helping teams work effectively and remain connected to the communities they serve. They contribute to planning, resource management, performance monitoring, and the implementation of Trellis’ strategic priorities, while helping identify opportunities for continuous improvement and community engagement.
This role is well suited to an experienced people leader who is energized by building relationships, engaging with diverse communities, developing partnerships, and turning community needs into meaningful opportunities for action. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership and organizational skills with a genuine commitment to strengthening the well‑being of children, youth, families, and the broader community.
This position reports to a Program Director.
