Job summary

Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities, part of QuadReal Property Group, seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance for our community in Spruce Grove, Alberta. You will perform landscaping, pool testing, and general repairs to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

The role requires hands-on skills, flexibility to work weekends and after-hours, and strong communication with residents and staff. Parkbridge offers a competitive rewards package including benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Two years of general maintenance experience; hospitality/campground exposure is a plus.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater systems; Water Operator Certification is an asset.
• G-class driver's license with a clean record is required.
• Ability to work weekends, days, nights and respond to emergencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional interaction with residents.

Responsibilities

• Maintain gardens and landscaped areas during summer.
• Perform pool testing and water quality checks.
• Undertake winter workshop upkeep and preventative maintenance.
• Handle grounds maintenance and light snow removal as needed.
• Repair and maintain community buildings and equipment.
• Keep records for septic system upkeep.
• Communicate with the Community Manager and residents.
• Uphold health and safety requirements on site.
• Support special projects and accommodations for residents.
