Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Selkirk, Manitoba, seeks a licensed nurse to join our community-focused team. You will take blood samples, assess vaccination status, and deliver vaccines such as influenza, travel vaccines and shingles, while supporting care for hypertension, diabetes and anticoagulant therapy.

You’ll educate patients on devices like glucometers and blood pressure monitors, welcome patients with professionalism, and partner with the pharmacy team to expand our nursing service offerings.

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with PIQ and travel health.

Responsibilities

• Take blood samples and assess vaccination status.
• Administer vaccines such as influenza, travel vaccines, and shingles.
• Provide services related to hypertension, diabetes or anticoagulant therapy.
