Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Victoria, BC invites a registered nurse to join our community-focused pharmacy team. You will administer vaccines, take blood samples, and support hypertension, diabetes and anticoagulant therapy services.

You’ll work closely with the pharmacy team to tailor care, educate patients on devices like glucometers and blood pressure monitors, and help deliver convenient, compassionate health services in-store.

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ and travel health.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and provide vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster.
• Identify and offer vaccines based on travel destination.
• Offer services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Provide instruction on use of glucometers and blood pressure devices.
• Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to develop nursing services.
