Job summary

Whitehorse Chamber is seeking a Family Programs Facilitator to coordinate and deliver parenting programs for families with young children in the Yukon. You will help plan, organize, and run programs such as You and Your Baby and other family-friendly sessions, while building partnerships across the community.

This role requires coordinating community events, reporting on program outcomes, and collaborating with staff to support families.

Qualifications

• Education in the field of early childhood, family dynamics, and parenting.
• Previous work experience with families of young children in a coordinating capacity.
• Fluency in French and English is an asset.
• Completed training in parenting programs would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, organize and deliver parenting programs.
• Participate in professional development to become a facilitator.
• Represent the program at wellness fairs and community events.
• Complete reports about programs including end of group summaries; annual report; newsletter.
• Participate in staff meetings and other duties.
