Whitehorse Chamber is seeking a Family Programs Facilitator to coordinate and deliver parenting programs for families with young children in the Yukon. You will help plan, organize, and run programs such as You and Your Baby and other family-friendly sessions, while building partnerships across the community.
This role requires coordinating community events, reporting on program outcomes, and collaborating with staff to support families.

Partners for Children is looking for a Family Programs Facilitator to join their team. Roles include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications: Education in the field of early childhood, family dynamics, and parenting. Previous work experience with families of young children in a coordinating capacity is also needed. If you have continued to read this far then you will know to state your favourite children’s song and children’s story in your cover letter. Fluency in French, as well as English, will be considered an asset. Completed training in any of the mentioned parenting programs would also be an asset.
Food Safe and a CPR First Aid course must be completed before beginning work. A vulnerable sector criminal record check will also be needed.
A class 5 Yukon Driver’s license and willingness to insure vehicle for work (any additional cost paid by employer).
Wage: $37.00 per hour + $3,000 health benefit
This is a .93 FTE (35 hours per week) permanent position starting immediately. This is an 10.5-month a year position. Part of June and all of July is time off without pay. No relocation funds available. This position does involve working Sundays.
