Job summary

WCG International Consultants Ltd. is seeking a Community and Employer Engagement Specialist to support WorkConnect in Calgary, AB. The role focuses on outreach to employers and community organizations, developing partnerships, and promoting services across the region.

You will lead events and initiatives, collaborate with local agencies, and ensure accessible program information while contributing to an inclusive workforce. This full-time position offers growth and community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience marketing programs to employers, community agencies and stakeholders.
• Experience providing workforce development information to employers and assessing needs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and using social media to promote services to community and employers.

Responsibilities

• Conducts outreach services providing program information to new and current community agencies monthly.
• Leads service initiative events to engage community and clients with WorkConnect services.
• Delivers professional services face to face, virtually, and in writing.
• Engages in local business associations and committees to achieve WorkConnect goals.
• Represents WorkConnect and markets services within Calgary to community organizations.
• Leads service initiative events to engage community and clients in WorkConnect.
• Familiarizes potential clients with available tools and resources.
• Maintains directory of community services and up-to-date information.
