Job summary

About the Role

As a Community Activity Worker, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting older adults and other program participants to live active, engaging, and fulfilling lives.

Working within the Adult Day Program, you’ll deliver recreational, social, and life‑skills activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being while encouraging clients to maintain independence and fully participate.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
  • Deliver recreational, social, and life‑skills activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
  • Observe and report changes in client well‑being.
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, person‑centred care.
