The Interior Health Authority in Nelson seeks a Community Activity Worker to support older adults and other program participants in the Adult Day Program by delivering recreational, social, and life‑skills activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being.
You will assist clients with daily living activities, observe changes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, person‑centred care, with an orientation and ongoing mentorship to help you grow
As a Community Activity Worker, you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting older adults and other program participants to live active, engaging, and fulfilling lives.
Working within the Adult Day Program, you’ll deliver recreational, social, and life‑skills activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being while encouraging clients to maintain independence and fully participate.
