Job summary

Labatt Breweries of Canada invites energetic students to join a 15-week Marketing Internship at our Toronto office. This hands-on program places you on meaningful projects and offers onboarding, skills workshops, and exposure to senior leaders.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree, returning to school in 2027, with mobility across Canada and eligibility to work in Canada. This in-office internship is a gateway to future opportunities within Labatt.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Returning to school in September 2027.
• Eligible to work in Canada and 18+ in all provinces.
• Geographical and functional mobility across Canada is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to complete a project in a specified area (e.g., corporate communications, brand PR, ESG/CSR).
• Track and monitor media coverage and campaigns.
• Assist in coordinating corporate announcements and events.
• Conduct research in media and influencer landscapes.
• Develop press materials to support campaigns.
• Deliver end-of-internship presentation to Corporate Affairs.

INTERNSHIP SPECIFICATIONS

• Collaborate to complete a project in a specified area, such as: corporate communications, internal communications, brand PR strategy, ESG/CSR strategy etc.
• Track and monitor media coverage and corporate campaigns that align with ongoing communications strategy (i.e. Labatt activities, various brand/corporate campaigns and ESG/CSR initiatives).
• Assist in the coordination of corporate announcements, Senior Leaders' calls, stakeholder relations events and internal events.
• Assist in conducting research in the media competitive landscape and influencer landscape.
• Develop press materials to support campaigns (brand and corporate). This might include things such as writing/reviewing press releases, reviewing social media content, and tracking campaigns.
• Craft and deliver end-of-internship presentation to Corporate Affairs team based on the project(s) you worked on during your internship.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• In their 2nd or 3rdyear of an Undergraduate Bachelor's degree, studying Engineering, Business, or a related field, and returning to school in September 2027.
• Graduating in December 2027 or later
• Bilingualism is an asset (Required in Quebec)
• Can legally work in Canada
• Of legal drinking age (18+ in AB, MN & QC and 19+ everywhere else)
• Geographical & Functional mobility for your future Full-time position is a requirement – open to experiencing different functions and locations across Canada
