Job description

Location:Prince George, BC (remote possible)

Wage Scale:$45,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience. Includes 4 weeks paid vacation and a health spending account.

Work Hours:Full-time

About the Role:

Resonant Strategic is hiring aCommunicationsCoordinatorto join our growing team! This role is ideal for a strong writer with an interest in strategic communications and social change. You’ll help develop clear, engaging content for a range of audiences and platforms—including news releases, websites, social media, reports, and research summaries. We’re looking for someone who can distill complex ideas into accessible messages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit content for news releases, websites, client and internal reports, newsletters, social media, briefing notes, and more.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to develop compelling communication materials.
  • Support message development, communication planning, and campaign strategy.
  • Assist with related tasks as needed, such as document. formatting, proofreading, and internal communications.

Skills & Qualifications:

Required

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a clear, concise, and accessible style.
  • Self-motivated—able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Curious and open to feedback, with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiar with social media, digital tools, and MS Office and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledgeable about Indigenous governance and advocacy issues.

Assets

  • Experience creating public-facing content or copywriting.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other web content management systems.
  • Background in communications, political science, Indigenous studies, journalism, or a related field.
