ZOÏ Agency, a boutique Public Relations agency, is seeking a bilingual Communications Coordinator in their Montreal office. Our ideal candidate is someone with 1-2 years’ experience and who is passionate about pursuing a career in the fashion, design, hospitality and beauty PR industry. This is a full-time role located at our offices in Old Montreal (hybrid work from home available).

As a Coordinator in our Montreal office, you will have the benefit of working alongside a small team of communications professionals and will gain experience in contributing to larger projects along with standard administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the fashion/lifestyle industry, hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to challenge themselves by taking on new tasks which will reward them with a broader knowledge of media relations within the fashion and lifestyle industries. A motivated work ethic, initiative, along with a drive to excel will be highly regarded.

Coordinator Responsibilities Will Include But Are Not Limited To

• Interacting with ZOÏ Agency’s inspiring fashion, beauty, design, and hospitality brands
• Participating in agency/client brainstorm sessions
• Coordinating sample requests
• Researching for special projects
• Managing media lists and updating them regularly
• Tracking media coverage for clients and reporting on results
• Preparing and trafficking sample requests
• Supporting with media requests
• Influencer partnership support
• Writing French press materials
• Translation of English press materials to French
• Assisting with the preparation and planning of special events
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ relevant PR experience (agency experience preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or marketing preferred
• Knowledge of key online and print Canadian publications
• Proficient in Mac operating system and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage and meet multiple deadlines
• Highly developed sense of organization, with great attention to detail
• Fully bilingual with strong French & English, writing and communication skills
  
  

Additional Information

ZOÏ offers the opportunity of a hybrid work-from-home environment. While there is flexibility to work remotely, the ideal candidate must also be able to work at our office in Old Montreal minimum 3 days a week.
