Edmonton Meals on Wheels in Edmonton is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join a tight-knit, hardworking team. If you have 1–3 years of dispatch or trucking experience and a get-it-done attitude, this is the role for you.

You will schedule trucking, communicate with customers and drivers, resolve shipping issues, and keep paperwork, data entry, and inventory control organized using Microsoft Excel.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in dispatch or trucking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn new software quickly.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations in Canada and the USA.
• Ability to stay organized and manage high call volume.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate trucking for inbound and outbound freight to ensure deliveries on time.
• Chat with customers, drivers, and suppliers via phone and email to resolve shipping issues quickly.
• Follow up with drivers who are running behind and find solutions to get them back on track.
• Handle essential paperwork, including data entry, filing, scanning, and inventory control support.
• Maintain a reliable base of trucking carriers for new and existing accounts.
• Prepare accurate updates for management using Microsoft Excel.
