Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation in Carmacks, Yukon, is seeking a Communications Coordinator for a permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to inform citizens and stakeholders. This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in software like Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn traditional LSCFN practices.
The incumbent will also manage public relations efforts, prepare communications materials, and liaise with the media and community.

A university degree or college diploma in public relations, communications, journalism, or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is usually required or a combination of work experience and/or education. Incumbent is to work in an environment that may involve crisis situations, to have strong communication skills both written and oral, knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, GroupWise, Adobe, Class 5 Driver’s License..
