Job summary

Intact is seeking a Communications Advisor Intern to join our growing team in Canada. This internship runs 35 hours per week from January 4 to April 23, 2027, giving you hands-on experience across internal communications projects, newsletters, events, and town halls.

You are currently enrolled in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, with strong English writing and verbal skills, and proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Support the team with internal Claims communications projects, learning the why behind the work, not just executing on tasks
• Assist with the distribution of newsletters, announcements, and internal content
• Provide event and town hall support, helping with logistics, content, and coordination
• Collaborate with peers to share ideas and work through solutions together
• Bring curiosity, energy, and a willingness to learn to everything you do

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

Salary range (but not limited to): 52,700 - 65,900

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Available to work 35 hours per week from January 4 to April 23, 2027.
• Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next semester following your internship

We hire co-ops every semester (Winter, Summer and Fall)!
