Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercialization Project Manager to lead end-to-end product launches and customer implementations. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage commercialization timelines, packaging, artwork, specifications, testing, and launch readiness, while serving as a key liaison between customers and internal teams. Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, ingredient, or private label manufacturing is highly preferred, along with strong project management and customer-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercialization activities for new product launches from initial concept through final production and customer implementation.
  • Coordinate all phases of the commercialization process including timelines, artwork approvals, packaging readiness, material coordination, testing, validation, and launch execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed commercialization timelines, launch trackers, action logs, dashboards, and status reports.
  • Establish and lead structured commercialization cadence meetings with both internal teams and customers to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Ensure all commercialization milestones, approvals, and deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate customer onboarding requirements, specifications, implementation activities, and launch expectations.
  • Manage packaging updates, product transitions, and customer-driven changes while ensuring internal alignment across all departments.
  • Drive proactive follow-up and accountability to ensure projects continue moving forward efficiently and effectively.

Customer & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams throughout the commercialization and launch process.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers while maintaining clear communication regarding timelines, deliverables, and project status.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, QA, Production, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful launch readiness and execution.
  • Facilitate commercialization meetings, project reviews, action tracking, and implementation discussions.
  • Proactively identify risks, delays, bottlenecks, and communication gaps while driving resolution plans and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners as required to support successful project execution.
  • Ensure customer expectations are managed professionally and effectively throughout the project lifecycle.

Commercialization Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain organized and structured commercialization processes to support execution consistency across projects.
  • Partner with BI and prepare executive-level project summaries, commercialization dashboards, launch reports, and implementation updates for leadership.
  • Track commercialization KPIs including launch timelines, project status, customer readiness, and execution performance.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including meeting minutes, specifications, SOPs, implementation records, and action trackers.
  • Escalate critical risks, timeline concerns, and resource challenges to leadership with recommended mitigation plans.
  • Support the ongoing development and standardization of commercialization workflows, project governance structures, and launch processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve communication flow, execution discipline, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Assist in strengthening commercialization systems and processes to support future business growth and operational scalability.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

  • product launch coordination
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in:
  • food manufacturing
  • CPG

Commercialization Experience

Candidates should demonstrate hands-on experience:

  • working directly with customers throughout commercialization and launch processes
  • leading structured commercialization and project cadence meetings
  • coordinating timelines, approvals, artwork, specifications, and launch readiness activities
  • managing communication across Sales, QA, Production, Procurement, and customer teams
  • driving accountability and follow-through across multiple stakeholders

Strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

  • packaging and artwork coordination
  • launch readiness tracking
