Job summary

Al's Tirecraft in Burgessville ON is seeking a Tire Technician for an hourly role with opportunities to work at commercial locations and in-shop settings. The position emphasizes hands-on tire installation, balancing, rotation, and service duties, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean abstract.
• Commercial Wheel Installer Certificate preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and exposure to commercial fleet vehicles.
• Interest in expanding knowledge about the tire industry.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Commercial Sales Consultants and/or Service Advisors to obtain work orders and commercial customer service specific requirements.
• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires at commercial locations and roadside locations safely and efficiently.
• Conduct after hours emergency roadside service calls for commercial fleet customers.
• Accurately complete all documentation related to service work and work orders.
• Deliver customer tire maintenance programs by visiting assigned locations to complete fleet checks.
• Ensure service vehicles, the shop and all equipment are maintained in a safe, neat, and clean manner.
• Conduct efficient Receiving/Shipping of all inventories that enters and leaves the shop.
• Interact professionally with Commercial Customers.
• Assist Passenger Light Truck Tire Technicians as required.
