Job summary

Kal Tire in Cambridge, ON is seeking a Commercial Tire Technician to perform tire installations, repairs, and maintenance for commercial fleets. You will operate tire service tools safely, inspect inflations, tread wear and overall vehicle condition, and deliver fast, professional service on-site.

This full-time, permanent role offers a starting wage of $22.70 per hour, extensive health benefits, RRSP with matching, and growth opportunities within a Canadian, people-first organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial tire installation, repair, and maintenance is asset but not required.
• Valid driver’s license for on-site service and roadside assistance tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment.
• Adheres to safety protocols and uses PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and maintenance, including checking inflation, tread wear, and overall condition to ensure tire safety, efficiency, and performance.
• Communicate services performed by providing insights and recommendations for repairs and maintenance to improve vehicle performance.
• Deliver professional fleet, roadside, and off-site tire services for commercial vehicles, minimizing downtime with fast and efficient support.
• Adhere to Kal Tire’s safety protocols and quality standards in all tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence
