Job summary

Synectics Inc. in Ontario is seeking a Snow Operations Supervisor to lead field crews, coordinate daily winter operations, and ensure safety and quality across commercial sites.

This hands-on role focuses on site inspections, addressing deficiencies, and maintaining equipment readiness, with opportunities to extend supervision into summer maintenance.

You will monitor performance, plan routes, support scheduling, and uphold safety standards in all weather conditions to deliver reliable service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the landscape industry.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Previous winter operations experience as an equipment operator is required.
• Valid Ontario G Class Driver's Licence.
• Experience operating front-end loaders, tractors, skid steers, or similar equipment is an asset.
• Experience in a construction or landscape supply yard is an asset.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of operational responsibilities.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Valid steel-toe safety boots are required.

• Perform and supervise maintenance activities, including snow removal, de-icing, landscaping, hardscaping, pruning, and general site maintenance.
• Support scheduling, route planning, dispatch, and daily logistics for winter and summer operations.
• Ensure crews follow company procedures and all applicable health and safety requirements.
• Provide hands-on leadership and support to field crews and equipment operators.

Snow Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on leader to join our growing team as a Snow Operations Supervisor. This role plays a key part in maintaining the quality of our commercial customer sites, supporting crew development, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

While the immediate focus is on winter operations, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue in a supervisory role supporting our growing summer maintenance portfolio.
