Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. is hiring entry-level sheet metal workers for work primarily in Winnipeg on new condominium projects and heritage buildings, offering a pathway for long-term career growth.

A criminal record check and driver's abstract are required within 14 days of start. We support apprentices through the Manitoba Apprenticeship program and provide a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license.
• Registered Level 1 Sheet Metal Worker apprentice or labourer interested in sheet metal trade.
• Willingness to work in a team or independently with little direction.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install sheet metal in new condo sites and heritage buildings in Winnipeg.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.

Job description

Pay: CA$18.00 - CA$22.72 per hour

Southern Comfort Mechanical Inc. is currently hiring for entry-level sheet metal workers. If you're an energetic, dedicated individual interested in a career in this field, we want you!

The successful applicants will be predominantly working in Winnipeg in new condominium sites. We also work in Winnipeg’s heritage buildings, offering unique design challenges and a rewarding installation experience. SCMI is interested in hiring applicants focused on long term career growth.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid and current driver’s license
• Registered Level 1 Sheet Metal Worker apprentice, or a labourer interested in the sheet metal trade
