Responsibilities

• Brief and review the team on deportment, pass-on, and foreseeable issues for the day. Revise processes for fire drills, removals, or other procedures.
• Ensure site safety and audit vulnerable points, delegating and deploying the team accordingly.
• Assist the Site Supervisor with training and onsite exams for new hires.
• Review and export CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
• Review daily reports with the team through the portal.
• Cover guard shifts as needed.
• Coordinate daily operations with the shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of security team lead or supervisor experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid Alberta Security License
• Ability to work a 2/2/3 rotational schedule (0700-1900)
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism under stress
• Knowledge of operational security measures, confidentiality, and good judgment
• Understanding of Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act
• Customer service skills and professionalism
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership and mentorship skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Build relationships with stakeholders
