Job summary

The North West Company (NWC) is seeking a Commercial Sales Coordinator to streamline quoting and ordering processes and support the sales team. This on-site role at Gibraltar House, Winnipeg, MB involves coordinating admin tasks and coordinating with the transportation division to ensure timely quotations and shipments.

Located in Winnipeg, you will manage PO creation, vendor communications, invoicing, and seasonal marketing requests while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Degree preferred, but not required.
• A minimum of 3 years administrative experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Responding and preparing quote requests including freight to specified locations.
• Sourcing product through suppliers and vendors for quotes on product.
• Creating purchase orders and shipping labels for direct vendor shipments.
• Creating Retek PO numbers and warehouse requisition requests.
• Communicating with the transportation division for logistical decisions based on quotations.
• Processing approved sales to be captured monthly, reviewing with Inventory management quarterly.
• Generating invoices to be distributed back to sales representatives.
• Creating marketing requests for seasonal promotional programs.
• Create and distribute a variety of documents including agendas, correspondence, emails and minutes.
