Tremco CPG Inc. has been a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for commercial, institutional, and industrial accounts since 1928. Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc., Tremco’s service division, is currently hiring a Foreman for projects in Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities :
- Execute all projects within the region, including GC and larger-scale restoration & repair projects, from start-up to completion.
- Manage a crew of Field Technicians to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within scope or work specifications.
- Conduct daily onsite safety briefs, inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools, and address safety concerns promptly.
- Manage product/application training for the crew and subcontractors, ensuring all tools and materials are available to meet contractual conditions.
- Maintain communication with all relevant parties throughout the project.
- Order, track, and monitor inventory, and complete quarterly cycle counts.
- Perform end-of-day and end-of-project walkthroughs to ensure quality and address any issues. Send before-and-after pictures and daily updates on project status, including work performed, materials used, and supplies purchased.
- Assist in pricing service jobs in collaboration with the supervisor.
- Monitor and document the performance of Field Resource Reps, taking corrective actions as needed and escalating issues to supervisors or HR.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Manager.
Qualifications :
- Minimum two years of Foreman experience in the roofing industry.
- Experience in product and application training is a strong asset.
- Experience managing multiple projects with varying scopes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% or more within the region.
- Thorough knowledge of BUR, Single Ply, SBS, safety systems, low-slope roofing, metal, and steep slope roofing systems, and repair techniques.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Experience using technology to report project progression.
- Ability to work effectively with others, including apprentices.
- Valid Driver’s License required; access to a company truck provided.
- Some estimating experience is a plus.
