Dentons Canada is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our Vancouver real estate team. You will coordinate complex commercial real estate transactions, land development matters, and Land Title Office filings, from due diligence to closing and final reporting.

The role requires strong BC conveyancing knowledge, handling leases, strata, and 219 covenants, with a focus on accuracy and client service. Salary targets reflect market norms for senior paralegals in Vancouver.

Qualifications

Minimum of six (6) years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate transactions and development work.
Strong experience with commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, including closing agendas and documentation.
Experience with Land Title Office filings and electronic filing applications.
Familiarity with BC real estate conveyancing procedures, title registration, due diligence searches, LOTA and PTT reporting.
Experience with real estate financing transactions and related security documents.

Responsibilities

Administer commercial real estate conveyancing files from start to finish under a lawyer's supervision.
Assist with purchases, sales, lending transactions, and financings, including closing agendas and books.
Draft and prepare legal documents related to land development and subdivisions.
Prepare and file electronic registrations with Land Title Office and other agencies.
Coordinate land assembly and complex subdivision matters and related registrations.
Liaise with clients, vendors, financial institutions, and external parties on real estate matters.
