Yorkstone Management is a commercial property and asset management company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Our portfolio consists of primarily office and retail properties in North America. We are currently looking for a dynamic person to join our growing team as a Property Administrator.

The position supports and assists in the management of commercial real estate. They are involved in all aspects of managing day-to-day operations of the property, including reporting, tenant relations, marketing, trade and repair management, leasing and tenant renewals. They handle tenant concerns and service requests, and preventative maintenance. As a Property Administrator you would also assist in the preparation of the annual budget, reporting, and supporting the financial performance of the properties.

As a candidate you should be eager to learn and a self-starter developing solutions to problems as they occur.

Job Duties:

  • Research market rental rate by surveying local rental rates, calculating overhead costs and profit goals.
  • Attracts tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, showing units, assist the Property Manager with drafting leases.
  • Assist the Property Manager in contracts with tenants, negotiating leases and renewals.
  • Assist in the financial objectives by collecting rents, forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective action.
  • Help manage and maintain properties by investigating and resolving tenant concerns, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units and completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
  • Further assist in maintenance management by contracting for maintenance services; supervising repairs.
  • Assist Management in establishing and enforcing precautionary policies and procedures, responding to emergencies.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Other related tasks as requested by Management
