Job summary

You will assess client risks, determine suitable coverages, negotiate with underwriters, and coordinate with claims during renewals, while benefiting from a hybrid work model and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• RIBO license with minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lines at a brokerage or insurer.
• Desirable to complete CAIB, CIP, and/or CRM designations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment and propose appropriate coverages and risk management strategies.

• Book Management: Manage a book of medium to large size commercial insurance accounts, working closely with principals and account associates.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessment of clients' operations, determine appropriate insurance coverages, and develop risk management strategies.
• Relationship Management: Negotiate coverages and rates with underwriters, conduct renewal reviews, and collaborate with the claims department during negotiations.

Desired Skills

• RIBO License required with minimum 3 years' experience in commercial lines at a brokerage or insurance company.
