Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is hiring a Finance Analyst for an onsite role in Mississauga. You will support the Canada Finance Team with go-to-market processes and promotion accrual management, reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, and partnering cross-functionally with the commercial organization.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, has 1+ years in corporate finance, and possesses strong Excel and SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Data Management.
• 1+ years of experience in Corporate finance or accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP; familiarity with data analysis tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Management of promotion allowances to meet internal controls and GAAP with month-end accrual procedures.
• Support commercial business with monthly allowance management processes and ad hoc analysis for KPIs and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate promotions data for commercial reporting and analytics.
• Support controls and compliance related to promotional activities and auditor inquiries.
• Lead aspects of projects: volume, mix and pricing analysis, modeling, and profit plan process improvement.
• Ad hoc projects and analyses as needed.
