Job Description

We are seeking dedicated apprentice and journeyman electricians to join our team, with current projects at the Calgary Zoo and upcoming opportunities. This is a chance to work on a variety of commercial projects and be part of a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical work, pull conduit, and run wire.
• Install and maintain fire alarms.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure high voltage systems are properly maintained.

Essential Skills

• Certified Apprentice Electrician.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial construction.
• Fall Arrest and Lift Training certification.
• Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CSTS and WHMIS certifications are nice to have.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with high voltage systems and operating a telehandler.

Work Environment

Work is primarily commercial, with projects located throughout Calgary and into High River. Employees can choose from several site locations based on convenience. The standard work shift is Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Occasional out-of-town work may be required, with notice given in advance.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
