Job summary

AutoCanada Inc. is seeking a Repair Technician for ACX Windsor to repair and restore vehicles damaged in accidents, following OEM procedures.

A licensed technician capable of frame work and both major and minor repairs will ensure high safety and quality standards. The role involves reviewing damage reports, estimating repair costs, performing quality repairs, and completing final inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and a flawless paint finish.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training courses
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effective
• I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job
