The Outage Planning department is a key part of Hydro One’s commitment to decarbonizing the grid. If you want meaningful work experience with major capital projects (around $1B per year), this 4 to 8-month co-op opportunity might be for you. Working with our dedicated team, you will develop plans for major electrical projects from conceptual stages to completion, serving Ontarians for years to come. We seek a dynamic, self-starting individual capable of working independently to support our capital projects. This role will expose you to project planning, practical AutoCAD usage, stations work environment, and travel to various project sites across the province. The department supports project planning, construction coordination, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Applicants must be enrolled in post-secondary studies and plan to return to full-time studies after the work term, unless the work is necessary for graduation. Only applications via Hydro One’s career page are accepted. International students must have proper work permits and SIN.
