Job summary

Martin-Brower of Canada Co. is seeking a warehouse worker to perform duties in a cold/freezer environment and to handle dry/cooler selection, ensuring accurate product loading and pallet quality. You will work both independently and in teams, with minimal supervision and adherence to safety standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, reliable time management, and good communication. Background checks are required after an offer is extended.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability.
• Must be able to work in a cold or freezer environment.
• Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 55lbs).
• Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics is an asset.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience is an asset.
• Team player with good communication skills and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multi-task, manage time, and stay detail-oriented.
• Effective problem solving skills and reliability.
• Post-offer background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Dry/Cooler selection: Accurately selecting product to be loaded on company trailers.
• Ensure proper stop sequence and construction on all pallets selected.
• Ensure loading of product selected is in its proper place on the company trailer.
• Responsible for load quality and reliability.
• Put away all returns at the end of assigned shift.
• Change batteries in equipment as needed.
• Check and evaluate work against quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Organize work to maximize safety and efficiency.
