Job summary

Martin-Brower of Canada Co. is seeking a Warehouse Worker to perform duties in a distribution centre, including replenishment, freezer/cooler selection, dry selection, receiving, and putaway. You will work under minimum supervision, contributing to efficient warehouse operations within a team.

The role requires ability to work in cold environments, lift up to 55 lbs, and pass a background check. Prior forklift/pallet jack experience is a plus, with safety and quality standards emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience and exceptional ability.
• Must be able to work in a cold or freezer environment.
• Able to repetitively lift and move heavy boxes (up to 55lbs).
• Warehouse experience in high-volume, food-service, distribution or logistics is an asset.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack experience is an asset.
• Team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Great work ethic, high initiative, self-motivation and positive attitude.
• Ability to multi-task, time management skills, detail-oriented.
• Effective problem solving skills.
• This position must pass a post-offer background check.

Responsibilities

• Keep pick-slots full; replenish line, flow racks, and bulk locations.
• Rotate inventory; crucial in freezer, cooler, and dry areas.
• All movement of product must be tracked and follows physical movement.
• Place product in proper pick-slots; avoid setting aside.
• Take damaged product to recoup area; monitor changes and substitutions.
• Perform freezer/cooler, dry selections for loading on trailers.
• Receive inbound loads accurately and resolve labeling issues.
• Put away products in reserve slots near pick locations.
• Manage put-away to reduce errors by shift end.
• Ensure dock flow and coordinate with other receivers.
