Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Material Handler / Reach Truck Operator in Brantford, Ontario. The role focuses on moving frozen food with Crown reach trucks and performing manual warehouse tasks to meet daily fulfillment schedules.

The position requires operating in a -22°C cold storage environment, using RF scanners, and maintaining inventory accuracy. A safety-focused, team-oriented individual will thrive in this fast-paced facility with full training and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on reach truck operation (Crown experience preferred).
• Valid external forklift operator license or documented proof of in-house certification.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated/freezer warehouse (-22°C).
• Experience in fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate Crown reach forklifts safely inside narrow-aisle racking systems.
• Receive, move, and put away frozen food products in a freezer storage environment (-22°C).
• Utilize RF handheld scanners to locate, verify, and transfer inventory accurately.
• Perform manual picking and pallet building, lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain warehouse accuracy, product safety standards, and proper inventory placement.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate effectively with shift teammates.
