Moonshine Mama’s on Salt Spring Island is seeking a reliable Cold Press Juicer to join our hands-on production team. You’ll prepare produce, operate commercial juicers, and help maintain food safety and cleanliness standards.

This permanent, part-time role offers two to three days per week with 8-hour shifts. Training will be provided, and you’ll work in a growing company focused on quality juice production.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of standing and repetitive tasks for 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare produce for juicing.
• Operate commercial cold-press juicing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Measure output according to production needs.
• Record clear production logs.
• Monitor product quality and perform quality checks.
• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble juicing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize production area and tools, including periodic deep cleaning.

Job description

Position: Cold Press Juicer. Permanent position.
Pay: $25 per hour.
Location: 186 Atkins Road, Salt Spring Island.
Schedule: Part-time, two to three days per week.
Days: 2 to 3 days per week, based on the production schedule.
Shifts: 8-hour shifts.

Moonshine Mama’s is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cold Press Juicer to join our team.

This is a hands‑on food production role focused on preparing ingredients and producing fresh cold‑pressed juice. The work involves operating juicing equipment, completing repetitive and physically active tasks efficiently and accurately, and maintaining high standards for food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing produce for juicing
• Operating commercial cold‑press juicing equipment safely and efficiently
• Measuring output according to set production needs
• Recording clear, complete, and accurate written production logs
• Monitoring product quality and performing required quality checks
• Disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembling juicing equipment after use
• Cleaning and sanitizing the production area, tools, and equipment, including periodic deep cleaning of the facility
