Job summary

Moonshine Mama’s is seeking a reliable Production Assistant to join our bottling line on Salt Spring Island. This part-time role pays $23 per hour and runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

You will work at different stations, record production logs, apply and check labels, inspect bottles, and perform quality tests. The role includes cleaning, deep cleaning, and training; prior production experience is an asset but not required.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Schedule: Part-time, two days per week.
Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays (needs to be committed to work every Tuesday within reason).

• Applying labels and checking that labels are positioned correctly
• Inspecting bottles and packaging for quality
• Performing other quality tests
• Cleaning and sanitizing the production area and equipment after use
• Participating in periodic deep cleaning of the facility
• Attending required training
• Assisting with other production and facility tasks as needed

Previous production, packaging, food manufacturing, or assembly-line experience is an asset but is not required. Training will be provided.
