Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA in the Cambridge region is hiring a Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver food, supplies, and equipment to multiple locations in the area. You will assemble and deliver all items, verify loads, unload at delivery sites, maintain a clean vehicle, and follow sanitation guidelines.

A valid driver's license and a Food Handler Certificate are required; strong communication and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Physical ability to carry out duties.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and deliver all supplies to the scheduled locations.
• Prior to beginning each day’s route, ensure truck/vehicle is loaded with all products.
• Unload requested products at delivery site.
• Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
• Return items such as unused food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils.
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized; perform pre & post trip inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
