Job summary

COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a Route Driver to maintain inventory levels and distribute products to micro markets, vending machines and OCS. You will ensure client satisfaction, follow company policies, and perform routine cleaning and service on equipment.

The role requires a valid Class 5 license, 3 years of driving experience, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. You may work independently and handle route responsibilities with care and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license and good driving record.
• 3 years driving experience.
• Preferred 1-2 years of customer service experience, or a minimum of 1 year related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (box truck, handcarts, etc.)
• Able to work independently and be responsible for route unsupervised most of the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels and product distribution for micro markets, vending machines and OCS.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Display clear understanding of company policies and administer as needed.
• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of machines and related equipment.
• Conduct minor service and adjustments on machines; report defects to maintenance.
• Load truck before each day’s route to service all scheduled locations.
• Inform regular clients of new products or services and resolve complaints.
• Record receipts, invoices, delivery tickets and cash collected.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and conduct inventory reconciliation.
